The Surgery

Using liposuction, Dr. Sheila Bond will harvest fat from a selected area, or areas of your body, usually the abdomen, thighs or back. The fat will be processed and then it will be injected into the upper quadrant of your buttocks so that the butt appears lifted, full and perky.

Precise injection methods are essential to achieve a uniform, smooth, natural appearance to the buttocks. At the same time, she will usually liposuction the lowest part of the back and re-shape the unwanted contours. The procedure is done in a hospital under general anesthesia on an outpatient basis with no overnight stay.

The Recovery

After the surgery, your butt will be swollen and sore, but you will immediately see a difference in your new rounded contours. You will not be able to sit directly on the new butt for about 2 weeks to ensure a permanent result.

There is also one more proviso: you must have a good amount of harvestable fat to make a substantial difference to the butt. While we often complain about our excess fat, sometimes, it can be a good thing to hold onto a few extra pounds.
